My youngest is 17 months old. As I have an older child, I realize that time never stands still and they grow faster than we want them to. Cute chubby feet turn into stinky, skinny, sweaty boy feet. Soft chubby cheeks thin out to chiseled and sculpted faces. Those little hands that hold your finger will soon be big enough to hold your entire hand and then no longer need it.
Inspired by another newborn photographer who had written a post about posing your toddler like a newborn, I decided to bring my little one in and create these memories for myself. This big boy who sprawls over my entire newborn posing bag is NOT a sleeper and never has been. I wasn't sure how I would get him to fall and then stay asleep as I worked on posing him and to be honest it didn't last long.
