Spring is here! Didn't we just finish the busy fall family photo season? I guess not! We had some beautiful weather here in Dayton, Ohio in early March and then as soon as Spring came Winter decided to take back over.
With the coming of Spring, however, means that wedding season is right around the corner!!! Melissa and Derek were my first engagement session of 2018 and we had a lot of fun (even though the weather was cold and windy) down at Smale Park in Cincinnati.
For those of you who aren't familiar with this location, let me explain a bit first. This actually was my first time visiting this park and I was very pleasantly surprised by all it had to offer. There are many very nice swinging benches that overlook the Ohio River, multiple play areas for children of all ages, the John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge, and an indoor carousel (which was closed the day we were there).
Here are just a few images from our day at Smale Park. It was a pleasure spending a bit more time with this lovely couple before their big day. I can't wait to capture their Benham's Grove wedding this summer!
